Milanni

Pronounced mih-LAH-nee, Milanni strikes a sweet balance between lyrical charm and heartfelt meaning, making it a delightful choice for a baby girl whose spirit feels like a gentle breeze ushering in new adventures. Though it first appeared on the US baby charts in 2005 with just a handful of little ones adorning it, Milanni has steadily held its own in the top 1,000 since 2013—peaking at #915 in 2022 and settling at #932 with 18 darling arrivals in 2024. Blending an echo of the Hawaiian word milani (meaning “gentle” or “heavenly”) with the beloved warmth of names like Mila and Ani, Milanni carries a soft elegance that’s both down-to-earth and faintly whimsical. It’s the kind of name that feels like sunlit laughter, promising individuality, joy, and a bright future from the very first whisper of its three melodious syllables.
