Alaska's 2025 baby-name lists have a new girls' leader in Charlotte, while Noah tops the boys.
Charlotte reached No. 1 with 32 babies, a 20-place rise, and Amelia sits close behind at 31. Penelope and Lucy both climbed 13 spots, while Olivia and Aurora each slipped; the girls' list keeps a strong run of vintage-sounding favorites.
For the boys, Noah's 46 babies put him ahead of Theodore at 45. William made the biggest move among the boys, gaining 14 places to reach 36 babies, while Liam dropped 5 spots.
The two lists share a compact, familiar feel: classic names hold most of the top spots, but short picks like Levi and Lucy keep things from feeling too formal. Alaska's small counts mean a handful of births can reshape the rankings from one year to the next.
