Olivia edges Mia for California’s 2025 girls’ crown, with Sophia, Camila and Emma close behind in a tightly packed front group.
The lead is razor-thin: Olivia’s 1,796 births sit just ahead of Mia’s 1,788. Behind them, Sophia remains in the mix, while Ailany makes the biggest move near the top, climbing 60 places to No. 11.
Farther down, Ailani’s 129-place jump to No. 84 is the sharpest climb on the page, and Sienna rises 42 places to No. 73. The list leans toward short, polished choices and soft, vowel-rich favorites, with plenty of unisex-sounding picks in the mix.
Not every familiar name is rising: Bella drops 22 places and Jade 20, a reminder that even well-known favorites can cool. Still, the list feels anchored by classics at the top and refreshed by climbers below.
