Popular Girl Names in Georgia

Amelia leads Georgia's 2025 girls list with 450 babies, just ahead of Charlotte's 438 and Olivia's 418.

Behind those three, the top ten holds plenty of familiar ground: Emma stays put at No. 4, with Isabella, Sophia, Ava, Mia, Evelyn and Elizabeth close behind. The more interesting movement comes a little further down, where Ailany jumps 68 places to land at No. 12.

Amara makes the biggest leap on the whole list, climbing 124 spots to reach No. 95, while Clara (+65) and Margot (+64) post the next largest gains and Sophie rises 37. Several of these are vintage-sounding choices coming back into favor, sitting alongside the soft, vowel-heavy picks that fill the upper ranks.

Not every name is heading up. Stella drops 37 places, Grace falls 25 and Kinsley slips 22, all giving back ground they held a year earlier. Even so, the Georgia list keeps its mix of short, unisex surname-style picks and long, traditional favorites, so parents have plenty of directions to go.
